The Bird Aviation Museum and Invention Center with countless volunteers and local businesses, including Idaho Granite Works, has created a memorial dedicated to Women Airforce Service Pilots of WWII (WASPs) and other women of courage. For years, their service was unrecognized, even unknown. To learn more visit www.birdaviationmuseum.com. Idaho Granite Works created a custom granite plaque for the memorial along with engraved boulders and several recognition plaques and stones.
