The Falls at Hayden Lake

The Falls at Hayden Lake is what happens when you blur the lines between development and conservation. Inspired by the careful planning that goes into developing a nature park, this North Idaho community has been thoughtfully designed to create a harmonious balance between preservation of environment and comfortable lakeside living for you and your family.

Idaho Granite Works has managed all site development and construction of the community.  Proudly, Idaho Granite Works also displays its custom stone creations in and around the project.  As homeowner’s and guests enter the community, they are greeted by a handsome log entry set on custom basalt pillars and basalt welcome signs.  One of the most obvious contributions of Idaho Granite Works is the 110’ vertical drop waterfall.  The water falls into one of the common areas surrounded by more custom work of Idaho Granite Works.  Basalt hearths in the pavilions, a bridge clad in basalt, and custom basalt stepping stones through a pond.

Women of Courage

Women of Courage - The Bird Aviation Museum and Invention Center with countless volunteers and local businesses, including Idaho Granite Works, has created a memorial dedicated to Women Airforce Service Pilots of WWII (WASPs) and other women of courage.  For years, their service was unrecognized, even unknown.  To learn more visit www.birdaviationmuseum.com.  Idaho Granite Works created a custom granite plaque for the memorial along with engraved boulders and several recognition plaques and stones.

Idaho Granite Works featured in the January 2009 issue of Stone business magazine, a leading industry publication.
